About The Project
A commemorative day with an out-door cinematic event created to show the love for the silver screen and all things cinema.
The event features a unique ticketing system where the sealing tab on a uniquely designed popcorn packaging acts as the ticket and is torn on entry revealing the delicious popcorn treat within.
The Popcorn Picnic features a brand identity with typographical connection to the 1970’s Pearl & Dead brand along with colours to give a warm and comforting feel. This has then been applied to a television sting to advertise the day, as well as a variety of promotional items including a director’s chair, clapper board and picnic blanket.
The branding and box packaging from this project was later exhibited in London’s Coningsby Gallery in 2013. Check out the Events & Exhibition page for more information.
